This PHL December Society Session took place at Senoj Clothing with self-made entrepreneur and boutique owner, Charrita. Senoj is a contemporary women's boutique dedicated to providing quality apparel which exude confidence and class, empowering their customers to look and feel their best.
During this 2-hour intimate business mastermind, our SXS Society was given the opportunity to prepare questions for and learn from Charrita, SXS co-founder Alex, and their local SXS Society, while also receiving a sneak peek at the SXS ACADEMY... with a glass of bubbly in hand!
In attendance were local business owners, influencers, career women, side biz queens, and women ready to connect with and learn from their local fierce crew, because at SXS, we grow together!
Here's what some of the ladies had to say:
"Such a fun event! Perfect mix of professional development, socializing and shopping 💕"
"What a great opportunity to hear about a success story from @senojclothing and to get ideas from a mastermind group! Looking forward to February already!"
"Great event! Loved seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones 😊"
Not only did we get the chance to shop the fab finds at Senoj and snap some photos together, but we also had a business & professional mastermind session!
Here are some key takeaways & lessons from our mastermind:
When you feel you're in a saturated market or career field, really narrow down and get specific about what it is you stand for and who you aim to help. When you aim to please or help everyone, you actually don't help anyone.
When deciding to invest in and/or choose a mentor, this should be someone who aims share their wisdom with you to help you grow rather than keep tips and advice to themselves.
Holding yourself accountable to what you set out to gain/grow from a business/professional mentorship or program is a key factor in your success. It is not enough to rely on your mentor/leaders.
It's okay to change your mission statement or demographic/target market/audience. Nothing is ever set in stone.
If you're feeling confused about how to serve your demographic/target market/audience, start with the things you like to do/see/wear. It's what will attract people to you.
Getting your mind right to achieve work and personal goals starts with trusting your gut and telling yourself you can.
At the end of your session (and before shopping!), we shared some of favorite ways to dive into professional, personal and business development. Want to check out the books, shows, and podcasts our Society Session members are into? Take look at the list below!
